The Adventure Art Academy is, in addition to the classes, a community of creative folks from around the world. You are some of the most kind, supportive, and wonderful people, and I am excited to offer a space for you to connect with other students (and alumni of the program) if you want to!
Our primary community space is on a platform called Discord developed for the purpose of encouraging interactive and big group discussions online. When I login, it feels like I just walked into a room full of friends.
There are never any expectations to participate, but I highly encourage you to check it out! The community is just the most wonderful and supportive corner of the internet! And, I also share bonus content there such as field notes from my trips and work in the studio.

Discord is a separate program from the Adventure Art Academy website and can be viewed on the web or via a desktop or mobile app. You will need to create an account, and you can use whatever credentials you want, it does not need to match what you used on this site.
If the link doesn't work for you, try opening it in a different browser, especially if you are on mobile and using safari. Or, on a phone or tablet, you can simply download the Discord app, and then click the link, and it will bring you right to the account creation page.
Once you join Discord, you can be part of the group as long as you want to as it is a space for current students and alumni.
Old Community Group:
Prior to starting up the Discord group, we used a Facebook-like page on this website. You can peruse the old posts from the group below, but please know that very few folks are still active here, as most students now prefer the new space, and I post all of my updates and content on Discord. I'm keeping this old group live as an archive for folks!
