The first Nepal lesson is here!! In part one we begin in Kathmandu, fly to Lukla, and hike to Pheriche, the location for our first painting. Tucked in a deep valley below Ama Dablam, this was the first morning I was able to wake up before the group and head out to paint just after sunrise. With temperatures below freezing and windy, all of my watercolors froze, and I had to paint with scented rubbing alcohol given to me by the local clinic. I am so excited and honored to share this experience with you through the painting class and extra video segments showing the trek.
