About
In this painting adventure we hike and paint at a tarn (another name for a mountain pond) nestled in a rocky basin beneath Mount Baker and looking out at Glacier Peak. Together, we will learn to paint a unique landscape of snow, rock, and ice floating in an alpine tarn while racing the setting sun and a cold wind. Our location is one of those special areas high in the mountains of the North Cascades where snow and ice linger late into the summer, and I am so excited to share one of my favorite paintings from this mountain range with you!
